Where to begin! There is a never ending battle on weather or not rats are better than mice.
Personaly, i am a mouse man. I had Rats for two months with nothing produced, so i switched to mice. I went to to petstore
and picked up 1.7 mice. What do you know, 6 were pregnant! Two days later i had my first litter! It was great, free food,
and problem free.
One thing people find is that mice
smell, try adding Vanilla to their water, it cuts down the smell over 50%. The next best thing about mice is if you have one
that doesnt breed, you can feed it off. With rats, once they are ready to breed, and dont, they are already way to huge for
ball pythons. A mouse will never be too big for a adult ball python.
When feeding mice to adult pythons, make sure you offer more than two, monster ball pythons
get full on 6! With rats you can feed less, and down the chance of the snake being hurt, but the good thing with mice is that
